These are a form of cosmetic dentistry, too, actually. They do the job of old-style silver amalgam fillings but without putting a big, dark spot in the middle of your tooth.
Custom-engineered, tooth-shaped porcelain coverings, placed over a damaged or decayed tooth. You may have heard this process called “capping” a tooth.
A single artificial porcelain tooth, or a few in a row, that fill in a space between healthy teeth by being anchored to those teeth.
Dental implants are titanium rods that are inserted through the gum and into the jaw as artificial roots, upon which a crown is then placed.
Once upon a time, these were simply called, “false teeth.” Dentures are artificial porcelain teeth set in a special plastic base, and are intended to replace a large number of side-by-side teeth.
That’s a dentist’s way of saying, “pulling teeth!” but don’t worry. We don’t just pull in contemporary dentistry. It’s a much more comfortable process!
A root canal is a dental treatment focused on the inside of a tooth and its roots.
Sure, there’s fluoride in your toothpaste, and probably in your community’s drinking water, but there are times when teeth are considered vulnerable enough to decay that a special coating of fluoride is a very useful thing.
Thin layers of specially engineered porcelain that are attached to the front of damaged or discolored teeth.
Protective coatings that prevent decay-causing material from getting into crevices and indentations in the teeth.

Our first concern, when you become a patient at Aria Dental of Annapolis, isn’t your teeth—it’s the person using them. We believe that we can’t take great care of your dental and oral health without first knowing you and what you expect from a dental care relationship with a dentist in Annapolis MD.
Make no mistake—a relationship is what we want to build with you; with every dentist appointment, our goal is to learn more about how we can use dentistry to help you live the life you want to live, year-after-year.
To do that, we begin by listening. Tell us about your past dental services experiences, what you liked and didn’t like. Tell us how you feel about the appearance of your teeth. Let us know if there is something about how they feel that just seems wrong. Talk to us about what it feels like to smile—whether you find it comfortable or fell self-conscious about it.
We’ll also answer any questions you have about all our dental procedures (cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, family dentistry, etc.) or the way we do things here at Aria Dental of Annapolis in MD.
Once we have an understanding of your dental care history, preferences and goals, we can do a complete examination with all of that information in mind and highly recommend a great care plan for moving forward.
- Dr. Nicholas Daniel, Dentist Annapolis MD
Dr. Daniel and his staff are amazing. As I stated in a previous review and it still holds true, Dr. Daniel continues to restore my faith in a dentistry. I no longer dread going to the dentist. The treatment I receive starting from check in to check out is professional, friendly and helpful.
Dr. Daniel and his team are always so welcoming, friendly, and very good at what they do! I have needed a bit of dental work, cavities, Invisalign, etc. (after not taking care of my teeth the way I should have!!). Strongly recommend Dr. Daniel and the rest of the team at Aria for whatever your dental needs! There isn’t anything they can’t handle!!
Absolutely amazing experience at Aria dental! I had just moved to the area and didn’t have a dentist yet. My veneer got loose and I had to find one day of to get it fixed! They took me within 2 hours and the entire experience was painless and a piece of cake!
Traditionally, people just tended to do whatever a physician or dentist said. But things have changed, for the better. Patients want, and deserve, to know and understand what’s going on with their treatment and, quite frankly, just what dental services they’re paying for. If you go to another Annapolis dental practice and find that you just don’t feel sure about the treatment the dental office recommended to you, please call our Annapolis dental office. Dr. Daniel will look at your situation with fresh eyes, and let you know if he feels you’re being treated properly. You’re under no obligation to get that treatment here at Aria Dental in Annapolis, MD, but you can go ahead at that other dental practice, confident that you’re receiving the dental care you need.
