Emergency Dental Services

An older man with glasses is holding his mouth in pain.

On TV hospital dramas, they don’t talk much about dentistry in the emergency room scenes, but that doesn’t mean dental emergencies don’t happen. They do. We of the dental profession just take care of them in the same place we take care of all our other patient needs. For us, that means right here in our Aria Dental office.

When you have an emergency, call us right away. Even if we’re booked up, we’ll find a place in the schedule for you.

Situations That Could be Considered a Dental Emergency

Damaged teeth

There are all sorts of ways to unexpectedly break, chip, crack, or even knock out a tooth. Any of those can leave you in a good deal of discomfort. Depending on the severity of a break, chip or crack, we may be able to fix it with a single emergency visit. Getting emergency help quickly in the case of a tooth that has been knocked out of its socket may result in being able to reset the tooth and not replace it.

Dislodged fillings and crowns

When a filling or crown is knocked out of place, some very sensitive areas can be exposed, leaving you with the possibility of some serious pain. Call us and let us get that crown reset or tooth refilled as soon as we can.

Severe swelling and/or tooth pain

Pain is your body’s way of letting you know something isn’t right. Don’t ignore it. Trying to be a hero about a severe toothache or gum irritation only means you’re giving a bad situation a chance to get worse. If you’re hurting, call us and let us get you in here ASAP

Abcesses

Abcesses are infections that form a pocket of pus that, in some cases, can be distractingly painful. On an emergency basis, we can relieve that pain by opening up and draining that pocket. You’ll likely need furether treatment, including antibiotics, but at least we can get that pain taken care of right away.

That’s just a brief overview of everything emergency dentistry can entail. Our main message is this: Call us when you need us. If we decide you need to get treatment right away, we’ll make room for you. If an immediate office visit isn’t possible for your schedule, we’ll talk you through how to get relief from any discomfort until we can give you the treatment you need.

What Our Patients Are Saying

"With Aria Dental, I've come to appreciate and respect their services. Not only are the procedures pleasant, the customer service is exceptional. Dr. Daniel performed an emergency root canal due to my last dentist inexperience and I didn't feel any pain. I'm thankful that he was available as tooth pain will bring tears to one's eyes"

"I'm a big baby when it comes to going to the dentist, but Dr. Daniel and Chasity helped me feel at ease. From their calm yet friendly demeanor, excellent "bedside manner", to the great music and TV as pleasant distractions, I couldn't have asked for a better first experience. I'm already feeling less anxious about my next dentist appointment thanks to Aria."
